# Chat Wrapped

> A free chat export analyzer at https://chat-wrapped.skillsafe.ai/. Drop a WhatsApp, Telegram or
> Zoom chat export and get per-person statistics, activity charts and a shareable summary card.
> There is no AI model, no sign-in, no API and nothing metered: the file is parsed and counted in
> the visitor's browser and is never uploaded.

## Inputs

- WhatsApp "Export chat" files from iPhone (`[date, time] Name: text`, usually a .zip holding
  `_chat.txt`) and Android (`date, time - Name: text`). Day-first, month-first and year-first
  dates; slashes, dots or dashes; 2- or 4-digit years; 12- or 24-hour clocks with or without the
  narrow no-break space newer phones insert. The date order is inferred (a day above 12, then
  which reading keeps messages in time order) and can be overridden.
- Telegram Desktop "Export chat history" in Machine-readable JSON (`result.json`), for one chat or
  a whole-account export with a chat picker.
- Zoom meeting chat files (`meeting_saved_chat.txt`), old one-line and newer two-line layouts,
  including direct messages; reactions are counted apart. Zoom writes no date, so the user sets it.
- Paste is accepted as well as files. A .zip is opened in the page.

## Output

- Totals: messages, words, people, active days out of the span, busiest day, longest streak of
  consecutive days, media, links, emoji, deleted and edited messages.
- Who talks most by messages, words or media, with shares.
- Reply speed: the median wait before answering someone else, per person, and how many
  conversations each person started. A conversation starts after a quiet gap (2, 6, 12 or 24 h).
- When: a weekday by hour heatmap, hour-of-day and weekday columns, and a stacked timeline per
  person (5-minute, hourly, daily, weekly or monthly columns depending on the span).
- Top words (common function words in English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Italian and
  Dutch removed) and top emoji (whole grapheme clusters: skin tones, flags and combined emoji
  count once), for everyone or one person.
- Awards: talks most, longest messages, fastest replier, conversation starter, night owl, early
  bird, laughs most, most questions, emoji champion, most media, most links, double-texter.
- A 1080x1350 PNG "Chat Wrapped" card in four styles, a plain-text summary, messages as CSV or
  JSON, and per-person stats as CSV. A period filter (all time, last 12 months, each year) and a
  hide-names switch (Person A, B...) apply to everything, including the card and exports.

## Privacy

The page makes no network request with the chat. Nothing is stored after the tab closes.
